Reinstalled PowerDVD 10 (since my PowerDVD 12 license is an upgrade), and then upgraded to PowerDVD 12. I decided to reformat my system and start clean, just in case something went wrong during install. I restarted, tried loading it again, and it immediately started loading more of the DivX Settings Manager. If I hovered my mouse over them, they instantly closed, but the processes stayed in TM. I also noticed that my task bar (by the clock) was full of DivX Setting Manager icons (like, over 200 of them). When I checked TaskManager, I saw that my system was running over 500 processes! Most of these processes were duplicates, and they all had to do with DivX (can't remember the exact process). I started the software before going on a 5 day vacation, thinking it may need to index my library (which is a decent size music/picture collection), and when I got back after 5 days, it was still slow. I installed it, and right from the start it was slow. So, I recently purchased the PowerDVD 12 Ultra upgrade to upgrade from PowerDVD 10.
